Inbound Foreign Investment Jumped Nearly Eighty Percent This Year

Foreign direct investment into the island reached close to fourteen billion dollars in the first seven months of the year, up about seventy-eight percent on the same period last year, while a bilateral agreement with Washington commits Taiwan to facilitating American investment in its semiconductor, AI, defence technology, telecom and biotech industries. Positioning as an intermediary for foreign investors using this facilitation pathway is a strong, timely entry point.
